How to access parent context from child subgrid using Javascript ?

I have a form, which has a subgrid and i want to access a field of the Main form, from the subgrid, using javaScript

may I know how we can access it without using LocalStorage or Global variables?

    you should be using the formContext in your functions, this will help you to reach all the available controls.
