I need to do an inventory adjustment to write off some damaged inventory. Of this particular item, I have a certain number of good cases that shows as available / on hand in addition to what shows as damaged. When I do the inventory adjustment, how can I specify to adjust off the damaged cases so as to not adjust the available quantity?

Hi Julie--
To my knowledge, Inventory Adjustments all come from On Hand, so you would have to transfer the items back to On Hand in order to expense them out using an inventory adjustment.
