Naming conventions for Dataverse tables when integrating with Power Platform solutions

Could somebody advice what is naming convention of Dataverse tables when integrating Power Platform into D365 Finance and Operations environment.

Here is example:
I need to build a Power Platform solution for fleet management. The solution will have Dataverse tables like: Planning tasks, Planners, Fleet, Transportation Assignments etc.
The solution will be in same environment as D365 F&O.

What is best practice to name these table? Considering that: F&O already have thousands of tables, that would be easy to find Power Platform tables, separate etc.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi @opit,

I would not be too concerned about being able to differentiate the tables versus the ones from Finance and Operations.
The tables should also be in it's own solution, and not be part of any of the F&O solutions in Power Platform.
You should create your own publisher (please don't use the default publisher), and that means that your publisher name will be prefixed to the element names. The ones from F&O is prefixed with "MSERP"

In terms of naming conventions, there are no fixed ones; It's up to the project to decide one.
I think this blog post represents what we are doing at my org: Dataverse Columns – Best Practices | Informed Power Platform
