Content settings go back to default settings every time I change them

Hi there,

I am new to Dynamics (Marketing) and I am making a subscription center. I have made new content settings with a new marketing page (with all the subscription lists via a marketing form) linked to it, however, when I change the content settings in a (new) email and save, it changes back to Default Marketing settings every time.

I really hope someone can help me to make the new content settings saved and working for my emails. Thanks in advance!

Regards, Joep

I set the content settings in the marketing email on the preview tab.

    Thank you very much!

I indeed needed to know that the content settings are set in the customer journey and not in the e-mail.

It is very confusing though that you can change the content settings in the e-mail though (and automatically changes back to default after saving)..

    Hi Joep,

I guess that your email is sent directly by clicking "Send Now", right?

It will generated a customer journey automatically when an email is sent in this way.

And the content settings is set in the customer journey.

You can change the default content settings by navigating to Settings > Email Marketing > Default Settings > Marketing Email tab.

So that you do not have to create a customer journey and change its content settings to send the email.
