Microsoft supported customization recommendations

Hi all, i am trying to hide a ribbon button based on logged in users security role, and to achieve this i am using ribbon workbench and enabling a custom rule to show or hide the button.

Is this a supported way of customizing or will be there be any breakup of the code in future while upgrading?

Because my client wants to upgrade to latest version in near future.

    Hi Vighnesh,

I also agree, Ribbonworkbench is a robust tool which is often updated accordingly to the new releases of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. You definitely will not have any problem to keep the solution consistent for your clients. Ribbonworkbench customizations are easily included in the solution.

    Hi Vighnesh

Ribbon workbench works directly on entities xml using CRM attributes. Is a great tool. Probably you will not have problems in the future. But all change is possible.
