Lucas gave you links about D365FO, not AX 2012. Documentation for AX 2012 is here: Data Import/Export Framework (DIXF) user guide.

Do you have any particular problem that you want to discuss?

    Hi Shabir,

There are a few known issues with excel as source for DIXF. You can try using csv as a format instead.

You can follow this post in case you need any guidance for the same -

    Hi Shabir,

Please review the documentation on Data Management and Import/Export jobs here:

    Data management overview
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/data-entities/data-entities-data-packages

Data import and export jobs overview

Here is also a great blog on the topic with a more in depth example:

D365: How to Export/Import data through Data Management Framework (DIXF, DMF)
    https://gfeaxblog.wordpress.com/2017/10/09/o365-how-to-exportimport-data-through-data-management-framework-dimf/

I believe you'll want to use the CustomersV3 data entity:

Or possibly the Customer details V2:

    I hope that helps!
