Hi,

Our step for retrieve VAT obligations electronic message is failing after we upgraded to PU45 and enabled the security feature for MTD executable classes.

Steps taken:

Installed Electronic reporting addin
Updated the Electronic messages formats for MTD to the required latest versions.
Enabled the preview feature for executable classes to be used for certain web service calls to HMRC.

The system is now failing to connect to the portal to get the access code (one off for 100 days) and is giving the following error:

User input parameter 'ActionId' has not been found.
We encountered a problem. Please try again in a little while.

Can anyone assist here - I have tried looking at the Message Processing actions as I suspect there is a problem with the changeover to this function and the model mapping but I can't be sure what is the correct setup as the tech guides are very poor on the Microsoft website.

This is an urgent request for anyone that has done this before recently?

Thanks
Kauto

    Hi Sathish

It was already there in the dataverse repo and I imported the latest microsoft models from there - they are all the recomended versions + 1 from the website documentation produced in June.

    Hi Kauto,

Since the integration architecture between Dynamics 365 Finance and HMRC has changed in a recent update, you need to replace the Action type from Web service to Message execution level for those Message processing actions where Web service is currently selected.

After making this change, open Microsoft Edge in InPrivate mode to execute the process.

    Cheers,
    Burhan

    Hi HM

It wasn't the ACTION TYPE that was wrong but rather the format mapping was still on the old models.

    Fixed now and submission successful.

    Thank you for the prompt.
