How to set up notification for low quantities of an itenm

Hi all,

I'd like to set up notifications on items when they go below a specific number of my choice.

I'd also like to be able to set up a reminder for parts with expirations a specific number of days before they expire.

If anyone could point me to the right resources, it'd be a big help. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for using Community Forums. My name is Becky and I will assist you.

For the first one, I would set up the Order Point in Cards | Inventory Item Resource Planning for each item. You could then set up a Business Alert to notify you when the on hand quantity falls below the order point quantity. Go to Tools | Setup | System | Business Alerts and set up  the following.

This would give you a notification.

I do not believe you could setup the Lot Expiration notification here. I think you best bet would be to create a SQL script based off of the Expiration Date in the IV00300.

Let me know if you have questions
