Hi guys,

Wondering if anyone can help.

I have created a few Two Options fields on a custom account form. I set the Default Value to "No" after saving and publishing the form, the default value of "No" is not appearing.

I read that you should use business ru2017_2D00_11_2D00_09-11_5F00_34_5F00_03_2D00_Field_5F00_-Is-this-a-long_5F00_short-strategy_5F00_-of-Company_2D002D00_-Web-page-Dialogue.jpgles to set the default value but why seeing as the option to do so is on the form?!

I would post an image on here but that function is not working for some reason :(

Many thanks in advance :)

I agree with Alex Shlega. The default value will only work for new Records after the Field is added to the Form in your Entity. With that being said, if you are wanting all of your previously created Records updated to the default value, you have a few options. You could create a Business Rule to update that value every time a user opens and saves one of your Records. You could even look into exporting your Records, performing a bulk edit, and then re-import your edited data. I hope this helps!

Are you testing this on the existing record or on the new records?

I'm pretty sure default value only applies to the records being created (those already there won't be affected)
