Multi level approval using Managerial hierarchy

Hi Experts,

I need to setup workflow using managerial hierarchy. With following position hierarchy:

Position A reports to Position B

Position B reports to Position C

Now when Position A user submits for approval it should go to B and C both

When Position B user submits for approval it should go to C only

I have setup Managerial hierarchy with all retrieved users hierarchy option but need help in getting the stop condition to achieve this?

Any help is appreciated.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Saurabh

You can use the job title, manager level, or position title for the stop condition. A have added an example below.

Thanks Osman but what should be stop condition that's my question.

If we put 1 it will go to only B if A submits not to B

if we put 2 then in second case it will fail where after C it will not find anything when B submits

    Hi,

Let's say your position c has "c" job title. your stop condition must be "when employee job title is c". in this way, when a send it, it will go to b and c, when b send it, it will go to c only. IF c or upper send it, it will fail. so, you have to decide what should be for c+.

    Hi Saurabh,

Can you share a screenshot of the workflow configuration with the stop condition? Are you using the position hierarchy or did you setup additional hierarchies for this workflow?
