Good morning,
my stores are running under RMS2.0. They are connecting to HQ at 5 min intervals, once an hour. There is a total of 10 stores.
I have a problem with one store only.
Once in a while, the event log in HQ will give me an error message when the worksheet 401 is running. The error message is ALWAYS at night, between 20h and 23h30 (which is the last connection planed in the day).
The error message is : error 3002, could not open file.
The odd thing is that when I check on the status of the worksheet after that, it is on a green flag status.
Besides, this shop reports that from time to time, they can see their sales results in Store Manager, but that it is not uploaded to HQ, even if the hourly connection has been done.(perhaps it is linked to the other problem, so I thought it may be relevant to note here)
Does anyone happens to know what could be the problem or/and how I can solve it?
Mikael

i have a similar issue but the HQ client shows : cstatemachine error is : error3704 unhandled error state=9 .
When i open my HQ Manager and i access the event log the software gives me this error. Really need help on this issue.
HQ Version is 2.0.1004
HQ client Version is 2.0.1004
Are you guys sure that something isn't running at these times, like say a Backup or Anti-Virus. Some programs lock files while backing up or checking them. Look in the event log to see if you see anything and/or exclude the folder that the temp files HQ is using. They vary depending on the OS.
Dave, we did not find a solution to fix the errors.
To answer Jeff's question, we are on version 2.0.0162
I am getting same error:3002 on the HQ client at random times. I noticed it does bring up the sales total to HQ, but the batches does not upload until I back date the WS:401. Did you find a solution on fix this error:3002?
Thanks
Dave
Sorry Jeff, and thanks for the answer. My RMS is 2.0.0126 version.
By the way, checking the windows event log, I found out my store had some problems of domain form time to time, and I corrected that, perhaps it will help for the 3704 errors (connectivity) I have from times to times.
It would be nice if you guys posted the version of RMS that you are running. Just saying 2.0 doesn't cut it as there are 69 hotfixes for 2.0.
Post the whole version!
Hello Mikael,
Thank you for the suggestion. I will try reindexing the database.
No, I have not received the #$ error.
I receive the following errors randomly:
Hello Aichi,
I do not know if it solves the problem, but REINDEX my database made the problem far less numerous.
I would suggest you CHECK then REINDEX your DB, to see if it is better after that.
The error came back after that too, but I plan to reindex soon so it should go better again.
Sorry I have nothing new to share... IS the error #'$ happening to your store too? Any random error 91?
I had 3 of them at the time.
Hello Mikael,
I know this is a few months old now. Were you able to determine the reason for the error?
I too have encountered this error. It happens at random times.
Nobody ever encountered this error?
The event log is stating that the error is on the store side, so I guess something is getting in the way of an operation.
If someone has any idea, it would be much appreciated.
Mikael
