In several times, in a page I need to filter by fields that are in another tables. For example, in customer list page, I want to filter for that ones that have a specific bank (banks are in another table). There is any way to do this (without a report)? Maybe creating in customer table a special field? Thanks!

Have you tried with creating Flowfield?

Or may be you can use MarkedOnly function to achieve the same?

You can give the free text field for capturing the user input and then filter the record based on the relations.

Oh thanks I will try it. And there is any way to show that field in the customer list page?

    Code, Name, Address, "Bank"...

Create flowfield as "Customer Bank" at Customer master, define the proper relations. Add this field at List Page.

    This should work.

    Jaime,

What NAV version do you have? Can you do a Query object?

If so, you can do a Query object joining Customer table with Customer Bank Account table. When you run the Query you will see some repeat customers because they have more than one bank account. Obviously you can filter the desired bank and see what customer have it.

You can add a field to Customer table and make it a FlowField, with a relation to bank table. However, this might be sometimes misleading as one customer might have several bank accounts. In this case, you have a chance to miss the specific bank you want to filter by.

I would suggest, visa versa, filter the bank table by specific bank account and get the list of all customers that have it. You can add Client's name into bank table as a FlowField to get client's name there.
