Currently operate in avg FIFO inventory environment.
Looking to understand how to post costs to partially reported as finished production orders. In current environment, only the physical cost amount posts when inventory as the production order is reported as finished. Then once ended, that is when the financial cost is posted.
How can you get the financial cost to post for a partially reported quantity on the production order.
Example. Part A production order is picked for 10.
At month end, 5 were reported as finished. How do you get the financial cost to post for the 5 that were partially reported as finished?
