when updated modified date time?

Dear All,

As i know if we do any changes directly at "TABLE" or we do changes at "UI" directly then only "modified date time" field get updated.

My question is if i do the same thing through "CODE" then "modified date time" will get updated or not?

if NO, please let me know how to do this.

please give me more shed on this.

    if you update from SQL server direct, modified date time not updated otherwise modified date time will be updated

    Thanks Sukrut and Vilmos,

    So, we can do 2 process to update "ModifiedDateTime".

    Either set properties of particular field OR As said Sukrut.

    Right?

    To answer your question: however you update the table (UI or code, does not matter), if it has the properties for those fields set, they will get populated by the AX kernel.
