Navigation List Builder - SOP actions Post and Transfer

Posted on by 2,410

I'm trying to setup a new Navigation List through Navigation List Builder in GP 2010 SP2 with SOP and the actions Transfer and Post.  I found this blog post and other saying the options should be there, but they are not.

Also they're listed on the Default Sales Order Transaction list under Sales.

http://gpbuilders.wordpress.com/2010/11/05/navigation-list-builder-lets-add-some-actions/

My available options:

Am I missing something in the company setup?  Or is the action worded differently?

TIA

Indeed it seems a standard and a newly created list do not have the same actions available...  I'll keep looking.

Thank you Phil. Is your Navigation List created through Navigation List Builder or is that a standard list but saved as...?

I'm having a problem using the brand new list created through the Builder.

    Thank you,

    Oleg.

    Hi,

I use GP 2010 SP3 and I see the same actions as you in the Navigation List Builder.

However, once the navigation list is created, I can customize it and the Print and Transfer actions are available :

    Hope this helps!

    Regards,

    Phil

I'd love to know how to add Print action to SOP documents.

    Brian,

This list / post was based upon the first GP Service Pack with the Navigation Lists... there has been some changes on the avaiable actions for each version and SP of GP.  My guess is that MS is removing "features" since they don't work correctly.

I would love more clarification from MS on this...
