Where can I see ERP MCP objects.

Hi Everyone,

I’m going through the MCP documentation, and I understand MCP provides three tools: data, form, and action (Document URL at end)

I want to understand specifically for the Data/Form tool

Where can we find these objects?
Is there any supported way to extend or customize the data/form tools?
If possible, please share examples or references for the data and form tools.
 
Tool name Description
data_find_entity_type Find OData entity types. This is needed for calling the data_get_entity_metadata tool. The tool returns multiple top hits that may be related to your query. You decide which one matches your search.
data_get_entity_metadata Get metadata for an entity. This metadata is needed for calling the data_find_entities, data_create_entities, data_update_entities, data_delete_entities tools.
data_create_entities Create data records using OData. Deep inserts are not supported for create.
data_delete_entities Delete data records using OData.
data_update_entities Update data records using OData.
data_find_entities Find or read data records using OData.

    Hi Sagar,

    The data tools are just like the other actions dynamic. The agent will try to understand if an action needs to be performed on a form or if data tools are a better and quicker way to achieve things. It has access to all public data entities, part of the permissions for the logged in user. In case you ask for a list of customers in Amsterdam, in theory, it can browse the all customers list page or use a data entity. The data entity is quicker and will be chosen by the agent.

    Can you tell what exact extensions or customizations you have in mind? It can use all menu items and all forms, including ISV solutions and customizations.

    To be very specific I want to know where these objects are residing. I am more interested in knowing how actually they work. Is there any code or LLM models are governing them.
