Hi All,
We are trying to setup a new demo environment for demo/presales purpose. We got our subscription at onmicrosoft.com like xyz.onmicrosoft.com.
We get below error when we try to Authorise LCS project. User has Admin rights on subscription.
Another issue is - There is no URL in LCS to raise Support ticket to MS (I guess because there is no environment) and we can't raise service request related to FO from Power platform.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Nishant,
Is the user on xyz.onmicrosoft.com an admin on both LCS and the Azure portal? Is the default directory on Azure also running on the xyz.onmicrosoft tenant? Also have a look at another old (related) question: community.dynamics.com/.../ax7-august-update-deployment
You could also try again later, and contact MS support if it still doesn't work.
Hi Nishant ,
Also check if the Dynamics Deployment Services [wsfed-enabled] is added to the subscription. In the role assignment you should have Dynamics Deployment Services with contributor role and the user with you are trying to authorize must me owner of it.
you could either explicitly give access to your subscription in Azure portal to the email or ensure to use the right tenant in the setup in ARM and could use the certificate to upload in Azure and connect with the subscription
The problem is that the organization is a 'Prospect organization':
This means that the user account you are using to sign in to LCS si connected to an organization that does not have a valid D365FO SKU.
You should be able to see this reflected in your Login Properties as well:
Prospect organizations and users have limited access to certain actions in LCS.
I'm assumint that either your organization does not have any valid SKU for D365FO or you got your Azure Subscription in a different tenant from the one holding the SKU.
I think you have two options here:
Hope this helps
Thanks all for your suggestions. I will update this thread once I have some update on this.
Hope you were able to resolve
also note the connection setting between D365FO and LCS is best done with a user account in the same tenant as that of Azure subscription
