hi,
i getting this error message "The URL to the Microsoft Dynamics Security Admin Service could not be verified. Please ensure that the URL you entered is valid and that you are logged on as an administrator of the service"

I have setup a Win2003 R2 sp2 server (a Domain controller server) with installed MS-SQL2005 sp2, GP10 sp2, OfficeSharepoint Server 2007 into single machine ( single server deployment) and, i have success installed e-connect, webservice run-time and has verified that GP web service URL is valid.
Btw, i was login as 'administrator' userid and used this admin id for all the installation process.

How do rectify this error for my GP WorkFlow installation , Pls advice.

this is the most unlikely option that i wish to take but i have not choice since failed to google any support articles that could help me. i just reformat + reinstall my MOSS server last week.

* Case Solved by re-format o/s + re-install MOSS

This response is for general knowledge since this is an old post.

Two huge problems:

Cannot install on a domain controller

MOSS must be installed with a COMPLETE installation (single server does not work). You will have to remove MOSS and then re-install it.

i did the same just like you ,

now when im trying to Enter the URL of Dynamics GP web service and the URL of Microsoft Dynamics Security

after i made a web application using sharepoint for both(service and security)

im getting a message (not valid url)

any advice
