Has anyone ever run into this issue?
I have a GL batch that I set up to recur monthly (in this case it's an accrual). I'd like it to recur on the last day of every month, but GP actually adds 30 days to the original date. So, if my first transaction is dated 12/31, January and February post on the last day of the month, but since there are only 28 days in February the March journal entry posts on 3/28 instead of 3/30.
Is there any way to have the system intuitively assign the last day of the month to the next journal entry instead of just incrementing by 30 days?

Just a quick update... I logged in to connect site this morning to make another suggestion, and saw that Microsoft responded. Here's what he said:
"Thanks for the suggestion. We'll take a look at this for consideration for updating batch functionality in a future release."
High five for that six month update cycle! Let's see if it comes out in the next release!

Please vote! This seems like it would be pretty basic... I know other systems can be made to do this (NAV and Sage PFW, probably others too).
Mike,
If you do create a new suggestion for this, please post the link here, so we can vote for it.
Thanks!
Bummer! Thanks Pierre!
GP doesn't just add 30 days to the original date, he add one to the month value then validate if that day exist in the following month, if not he will chooses the last day of that month, but if the date exist GP considers that everything is ok and don't change the date. There is no way (yet?) to ask GP to use the last day of the month. You can always go to https://connect.microsoft.com/dynamicssuggestions and add the suggestion to be able to use the last day of the month.
