Edit Actual Close Date of Opportunity?

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by

Dear friends,

We recently had a migration from a CRM Online instance to another done by a partner, afterwards it was noticed that the Actual Close Date of many won/lost opportunities have changed and I presume it's because the closed records were opened temporarily during migration, hence the actual close date of all records is now equal to that of the migration date.

is there anyway to fix this and make it revert to the actual "actual close date", as I still have the records from the source instance with the correct date. Will export/re-import work by looking up the records from old instance?

The wrong dates are impacting our reports and charts with data for won/lost opportunties. eg: YTD lost opportunities.

    Hi Sameera

Go to Sales>>Opportunities>>Closed opportunities>>Export to excel

Select static worksheet with records from all the pages in current view

checkmark- Make it available for re-import

Change the actual close date in excel and import it back; it works
