Lock/Hide Run Flow button in Business Process Flow

Posted on by 100

Hi everyone,

In my business process flow, users can bypass the current stage and click on the Run Flow button in the subsequent stage. Is there a way to prevent users from doing this unless the required fields in the current stage are completed?

Thanks Haig I am glad I am not the only one who is struggling to do this.

I am aware of how to create an on-demand workflow (mostly from the YouTube video below) but I not knowledgeable on what this would do – by using an on-demand workflow, would flow would be triggered by stage exit rather than via a run flow button?

    Hi ImranAmi,

I tried many ways but could not do it.
Could you convert your workflow into an on-demand workflow and set the trigger to "stage entry"?

This seems to be the most straightforward solution.
