Hi,
I found there is a branch filter on the Continuous deployment trigger.
If I would like to only release pipeline be triggered when the Main branch was built, is it just as simple as putting the "Main" in the tags?
Thanks,
If you specify branch/Branches in branch filter , build will be triggered only if the your branch has changes to files that match that path filter. So if you specify say Dev and Test branch build will be triggered when you commit to either of these branches
Hi Yuji,
Please read the following DOC:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/pipelines/release/triggers?view=azure-devops
If you want to create the release when the build is produced by compiling code from certain branches or when the build has certain tags, you can add include or exclude filters.
Use MAIN/* to include all builds under the MAIN branch.
Hope this helps.
