Rounding Precision must be greater than 0. in Item No.='1262'

Hi,

We are getting a rounding precision error for an item in our Business Central instance. we are unable to add any new items.  This is very strange as the item number that we are being informed of does not exist.

 Not sure how to fix this and any advice would be grateful.

    Hi Philj14, this error is a bug in the base application and Microsoft will soon provide a patch/fix for this. In the meantime, there is a work around. See link vistascloud.com/.../

    FOR YOUR INFORMATION:

    At Microsoft support level, we escaladed this concern to our Development team  and a fix has been created: the deployment process for all tenants is currently starting /  in progress.

     

    The build number for fix:  19.5.36567.38363

     

    Once you see this build (or higher) in the Extension Management page for Base Application extension, the problem shall be solved.

    We are still getting this error when applying Item Templates:

    The field 'This field is used exclusively to cater for copying of the item templates.' in the 'Item' table is not valid for auto loading and cannot be passed to calls to AddLoadFields, SetLoadFields, or LoadFields.

    Hi, Just personalise the Page by adding the 'Rounding Precision' field. then you can edit existing templates to set a valid rounding precision for each existing template.

    For example, you’re receiving 1 box that contains 6 items from your supplier. When the items arrive at the warehouse, you discover that 1 of the 6 items is missing. You decide not to post the receipt of 1 box, but to change quantity to 5/6 pieces instead. That will be converted to a receipt of 4.99998 pieces. To receive a whole number, the Quantity Rounding Precision field lets you specify a value that will, for example, convert the quantity to 5 pieces.

    We fixed this yesterday using configuration packages. Does anyone know what this field does? What exactly is it rounding?
