Fixed Asset Acquisition show Wrong Period/Year

Hi, Experts

I'm not Good in GP my Friend has posted Fixed Asset Acquisition entry from sub-ledger and when he try to generate GL posting he is not getting any entry Generated.

When I check the Subledger Activity Report I noticed That He posted the Entry in 23/07/2016 but Per/Year Show June instead of July.

What is the reason for this and how system has taken the wrong period without user entering any period while creating the asset & posting in sub-leger, please refer attached screen taken from sub-ledger has anyone face this kind of issue with GP Fixed Assets
