Hello,

We are upgrading CRm 2011 database to D365 and the Upgrade of the database from CRM 2015 to CRM 2016 SP1 failed. the 'Import Organization' process succeeded for the database backup, however, the version remained in 8.0. the 'Update' organization step fails with the following error

The entity with a name = 'msdyn_postruleconfig' was not found in the MetadataCache

Has anyone faced this error before ? Please help

Just to understand, the Server environment was upgraded from 2015 to 2016 SP1 and then you noticed the org was still on the previous build so you performed the 'Update' in the Deployment Manager?

Unless you had directly imported the organization into a new environment that is on 2016 SP1?

Have you checked the entity 'msdyn_postruleconfig'?  Was everything published in the org?  Any waiting bulk delete jobs?

    Hello Efrain

The CRM 2016 SP1 is a different environment. We took the backup of CRM 2015, restored on the CRM 2016 environment and tried the Import Organization step. the Import organization completed successfully. However, the version remained on 8.0.x.x even though the server version is 8.1.x.x

So the update of Service Pack 1 is failing for the Org. We have tried to do the Update after the import as well, but still the same error.

There is no entity with this name. we found references in Sitemap for this entity, we removed and published customizaitons. The Update still fails with the same error.
