Hello Community,
My name is Volodymyr Lysychnyk. I'm a group CFO, and I'm considering implementing MS Dynamics 365 as a prior ERP system for a group of companies.
I want to learn how this system works, understand what I can do and what I cannot, and assess what business processes I can build in this system.

I tried to find video tutorials, but unfortunately, they are not straightforward, and many details are still obscure.
Also, another question is how to bind custom websites with MS Dynamics and if Dynamics has a web builder.

I would be thankful if you could suggest courses that teach in detail about Microsoft Dynamics and how I can connect it with other MS products to increase the efficiency of the whole group.

TY in advance

Note that Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a suite of several different business applications, including multiple ERP systems.

You're asking in the Business Central forum, but you've never mentioned any specific product in the text, therefore it isn't certain that you're interested in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in particular. Please confirm.

Please specify which product you want to use?
As mentioned, Dynamics ERP system includes various ERP products such as Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics GP, Dynamics NAV , and Dynamics AX
These ERP systems are designed to help organizations manage and streamline their business processes, including finance, supply chain, manufacturing, sales, and customer service.

    Hello Judy and Martin,
    TY for your replies.

It's Business Central; what I saw is that this is the only product I can buy from Microsoft.

Regarding Business Central it's ERP + Sales, because we will need both of them.

By chance, does Microsoft still sell Nav? I thought everything now in Azure and Software like Nav is obsolete.

    Hi
As indicated Judy, Dynamics 365 has different solutions, to delve deeper into each one, I would think that you should decide which one best fits your company.

Here are some comparisons between the solutions.

For example, the Business Central solution, here is the documentation of its functionalities.

    Best regards
    Gerardo

You surely could obtain other D365 products. For example, I work on Finance and Operations (former Dynamics AX).

As far as I know, you can't buy Dynamics NAV anymore. Dynamics 365 Business Central is a new version of what used to be called Dynamics NAV.

    Thanks for your reply.
Dynamics NAV is not considered obsolete, while Microsoft has introduced cloud-based ERP solutions like Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics NAV continues to be available for on-premises deployments.

Just to be clear, Dynamics NAV is not a license that can be purchased.  NAV was rebranded as Business Central.  Business Central has both a Cloud and On-Premise offering.  You are able to purchase Business Central On-Premise, which would be the current release of what was NAV.  However, we generally recommend the Cloud version for new clients.

All that being said, a Business Central partner should be willing to spend time discussing your business needs and goals and help ensure the product is a good fit for your business.  Have you reached out to a local Business Central partner to walk you through some business scenarios in the software?  Since you can't purchase Business Central direct, you will eventually need to establish a relationship with a Business Central partner.

P.S. Since you're looking for video tutorials, I strongly recommend YouTube.  There is so much content available for free.  Just be aware some videos may highlight a specific extension (third-party product), but that might be a good thing if it fits your business need.

    Best Regards,

    Hello All,
    Thanks for your replies.

Could you also suggest where I can find certified specialists in MS Business Central?
I plan to hire one to implement the project and then develop this project by integrating it with other MS products. Using consulting companies has proven to be inefficient in my case, so I'm considering having such a specialist in-house.
