Unable to put period on hold

I'm getting this error message when trying to put a period on hold on one of the company. I verified in GL > Inquiries > SubLedger entries for any that may not have been transferred yet but don't see anything; it's empty. Also there is not journal sitting open.
I searched online and verified my Batch transfer rules as well, which are setup as Synchronous. Any suggestions?

    Are there multiple legal entities? Can you check if there are un-transferred entries in other legal entities? If there are, then those will have to be transferred before you can proceed.

    Yes, there are multiple entities. So I ran a SQL query on SubLedgerJournalEntry table to get all entries that had status "not transferred" and belong to the period that we're trying to put on hold. I see there were few records which belonged to a different entity. Tried transferring them on UAT and then put the period on hold and it worked. Thanks Syed!
