Year End Updates

As most know, there are a few significant changes to 1099 processing this year including the a new 1099-NEC form.  That said, is there any reason why we should wait till year end to apply updates (please note, I am only referring to the year end updates, and NOT payroll tax updates).  We'd like to stay a step ahead if possible.
