Hi,
After having tried several different solutions myself I can't succeed in sending bulk emails. They turn up blank or twisted and distorted.
What I'm trying to do is sending bulk emails to a marketing list in the Dynamics CRM. The process is as follows:
1) I write and design my email in Word 2016 - it contains multiple text boxes and images. I save it as a .xml file.
2) I start the mail merge in a marketing list in CRM and create a new personal mail merge template. I upload my .xml file
3) I download the template that I've just created - it opens in Word. I hit "mailings" (or shipments - I use word in Danish..) --> "CRM" and then follow through with the six steps to send emails.
4) Finally I send the emails in HTML-format. The emails are sent through the Outlook client I'm also using for the CRM. ,
This is where the problem arises. I've tried sending to multiple platforms and mails without success. I've send it to Outlook (running directly on the pc, with the best result yet), Outlook online (Office 365 mail), Gmail and also tried opening it on iphone and ipad.
The content of the mail either doesn't show up at all or shows up distorted and with missing links.
How do I solve this problem? How do I succesfully make the content of my Word template show up as html in all mail servers/clients?
