Fixed Assets Mass Update

Hi, 

I am trying to change the Depreciation convention for a FA with the "Mass update" function, yet, despite the different filters and start/end dates I entered in the "Placed in service start/end", the result is always "There is no data available'. Do I miss something?

I have FA with date Placed in service = 31.12.2017

Status = Open

I tried with the following dates for Placed in service start = 31.12.2017, 01.01.2017 & Placed in service end = 31.12.2022

I used no filters at all, also filters with the FA number, FA group number, FA Book, the result remains the same.

We are using the last 10.0.28 version of Finance and Operations.

    Thanks, Charlotte,

    yet, the Posting layer is different and I do not have how to change it, which I guess leads to not working exactly the way as it is described, and the function is not run, despite the depreciation book and the periods are correct.

    Only assets that are a part of the select depreciation book and that have been placed in service between these dates will be updated.

    Or the reason is that there are depreciations in already closed fiscal periods?

    My further investigations found that I need to change the Posting layer in the filter section of the Mass update, which is locked to "None". Any ideas how I can unlock this?
