Sales Accelerator shows in Sitemap without security role configured in Sales Accelerator Settings

Hello helpful people! 
To our customers it is very important to be able to grant access to the Sales Accelerator in the Sitemap only to specific users, especially in testing phases. Until all is configured and decided before letting all users in on it.

Until a few weeks ago, this worked perfectly via the security role assignment in the Sales Accelerator settings:
This Monday (8.9.2025) we noticed that the Sales Accelerator shows for any User not those with the configured Role.
User without System Administrator role:

Is this a known issue? Did something change here? Should I rise a Microsoft ticket?

What I tried so far:
  • Same problem in all our environments
  • Same problem in all browsers
  • Same problem for all users
  • Refresh, log-off/log-on of users, changing browser-profile etc did not help.

    You’re right,up until recently, Sales Accelerator access in Dynamics 365 Sales could be tightly controlled through security role assignment in the Sales Accelerator admin settings. That allowed admins to give access only to a subset of users (e.g., testing group) before rolling out broadly.From your description, it sounds like now the Sales Accelerator tile/page in the sitemap is visible to all Sales users, regardless of whether they were explicitly granted access in the settings. This behavior change has been reported by other customers as well ,Microsoft has been aligning Sales Accelerator with general app module access and security role
