E-Mails responsive Design - no solution for mobile

Hi there,

we are facing the problem that there is no real solution to the responsive design in E-Mails.

First of all there is no option to use a seperate picture for mobile - so in case the image is acutally a desktop format there is no option to have the mobile version optimazed:

Secondly, also the text in this e.g. is not responsive for mobile:

I need to use the scrollbar....

Any suggestions how to fix at least the second problem? Any ideas how to manage the first point?

Thanks

I have the same question (0)

I don't have a good answer (someone else might).  But, you can get into the HTML/CSS and make changes e.g. add your own Media rules for different screen sizes, but obviously you need some technical expertise to be able to do this (which you shouldn't really have to do if the wysiwyg Designer was more intelligent).

    Hello Diana,

I searched for different solutions and found this question in the forum:

    community.dynamics.com/.../responsive-email-on-mobile

For optimizing responsive design it kind of helps.

For using a second picture it didn't and I couldn't figure out if its possible to put a second picture in HTML/CSS code. Probably possible but don't have a practical solution.

    Greetings

    Joannis

RE: E-Mails responsive Design - no solution for mobile

I can guarantee you're not the only ones. When I started my small business, it was a nightmare for us to figure out all the problems with email. Several companies promised us they would solve all the problems, but they never did. After months of problems with no end in sight, we found Mobile First Design. They helped us improve the design and arrange the files according to the different devices our customers were using. So if you need help, contact them and they will solve all the problems with your email list.
