Access Dynamics CRM Organization (On Premise) using external URL

Hello everyone!

I have successfully deployed Dynamics 365 On Premise on an azure VM.

I can access successfully of course using the VM but i would like to access this organization outside of VM.

So the server url is of this structure crm:5555/org1 where i can access org1 CRM Organization. I had used a DNS for my azure VM of this structure crmtest.westeurope.cloudapp.azure . I would like to be able to use this hostname crmtest.westeurope.cloudapp.azure/org1 or crmtest.westeurope.cloudapp.azure:5555/org1 (whatever should be used) to access the CRM Organization .

How can this be done?

Thanks!

It seems to have issues by using only the binding in IIS .

Solution as someone posted above is to open these ports in Firewall of the VM. It works perfectly now

It can be done by using binding of Web Application and using host name that we choose from Azure for our Virtual Machine

To do it properly, you need to configure IFD. If you want to do it quick and dirty, you could open these ports in the Firewall of your azure vm.

    This url might help:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../virtual-machines-windows-classic-setup-endpoints

Just a question, why don't you use Dynamics 365 online if you are going to host it in Azure?
