Create route error when creating a project related subscription billing invoice

Hi, 
I'm encountering this error when I try to generate an invoice from a billing schedule that is linked to a project. Does anybody know how to solve it?

    Can you tell us more about the error? Was this working correctly before? Is this happening now for one or all invoice generations? Do you have customizations in place?

    In the standard application, this error can be raised in case no invoice proposal header is created. That can be due to e.g. a missing number sequence or no numbers available anymore in the number sequence. In case the number sequence is correct, I would suggest starting some debugging in a copy of the production environment to find the exact culprit.

    It happens only when the billing schedule is linked to a project. No customizations in place. I have checked all number sequences in accounts receivable that relate to sales order and in PMA that relates to project invoice proposals. It's a Belgian entity and all the number sequences are also included in the posting journals form.
