IFD question

Hi

Bit of a strange scenario and i could do with some advice please.

Client of ours has UAT and Live CRM 2013 on premise.

IFD for live works perfectly fine.

IFD for UAT works if in the current browser session we are logged into the internal CRM.

If we open a new IE session and try to access UAT via IFD, we get following error "ADFS2 - CRM 2013 error.  There was a problem accessing the site.  Try to browse to the site again.  If problem persists, contact administrator"

It happens for all users when trying to access UAT from a new IE browser session.

So any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

S

    Hi S,

don't expect response in 3 hours, not everyone is monitoring this forum every minute of the day :)

It looks like IFD is not working at all on UAT. I would start with reverting to Claims Based Configuration on UAT and check if that works (when entering internal URL, you should be (shortly) redirected to ADFS and back to CRM internal URL). Check if UPN, Primary SID and Name (Windows Account Name) are the available claim rules on the Internal Relying Party. Also check the webaddresses in CRM Deployment Manager.

If I read your post correctly it looks like it's use ordinary NTLM authentication on the internal URL and just fails on IFD at all. If I'm wrong then I would check if all claim rules are available on both CBA and IFD Relying Party.

Hope this helps, or at least gives you some hints to look for!

    Good luck,
