Grant access users to create/approve BOM in other entities without extending them in HR module

Hi,

In requisition there is a setup that allows to grant permission to a user to other entities (this allow same user in procurement creating requisition for all company entities)
Is there a similar setup that allow same department, procurement to create and approve BOM in different entities without having access to all entities witch is against our HR policies

    Regarding your question, I dont think there is or at least I ve never seen it. The difference is that procurement works or can work across multiple entities, whereas BOMs are usually in that legal entity where you need\produce the goods.
     
    One way to solve this issue is to give users permissions to create and approve BOMs in different legal entities but to restrict it to only these legal entities that are required. So, it would fulfill the requirement of HR. They wont have access to ALL legal entities, only to those where they need to create and approve the BOM.

    Hi,

    If I understand your question, on a PR you have a list of legal entities that needs to be restricted to entities where a user has permissions to. Adis mentioned the option for Assigning organizations on security role assignments. If you have done this already, try to assign the organizations also on the system user role.
