Error creating company: Business Process Error the user cannot write data to this entity only the integration user

Hi,

I am setting up our D365 Sales Enterprise solution and I notices that I cannot create products or customers because I have not any populated company. So when I try to create a new company I get a business process error as mentioned above.

I am pretty new to this product, so where can I get this fixed (on my own)?

Fehlercode: 0x80040265

OrganizationServiceFault Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.InvalidPluginExecutionException: "The user fdb9ac16-06f7-463b-ae68-1fe9a8d2e4a7 cannot write data to this entity, only the integration users may write data to this entity." at Microsoft.Dynamics.FOCommon.Plugins.Services.ReadonlyEntityService.PreModify(LocalPluginContext localcontext) at Microsoft.Dynamics.FOCommon.Plugins.PluginBase.Execute(IServiceProvider serviceProvider)

Regards

Jens

RE: Error creating company: Business Process Error the user cannot write data to this entity only the integration user

there is a limitation of the Dynamics product and you cannot create “Company” on CDS side.

But you can create it on F&O (Finance and Operations) .This is integrated on both F&O and CRM and has DualWrite installed.

Next step – If you are already aware how to use Dual Write it would be easier you just have to create the “Company” on F&O and automatically will appears on CRM side.

That means the record (Company) can only be created in F&O.

The Products in CE are created in Draft: go to Settings > Administration > System Settings > Sales tab and select “Create products in active state” = Yes

Products created in CE/CDS prior to enabling DualWrite will not be updated/matched unless the entire key (incl. company) match data from F&O.

Products sync is only one direction (F&O to CDS): any update to a mapped field on a Product in CE will be overwritten during the next sync from F&O.

    I have attach some documentation:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/data-entities/dual-write/product-mapping

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/data-entities/dual-write/company-data?toc=%2Ffin-and-ops%2Ftoc.json

However if you definitely not using a Company , neither in F&O or CRM , there is also a way to remove it.

The Product Group suggested and provided an action plan - > You have to remove below solution which belongs to F&O ,to remove the Company field in the below sequence.

As discussed over team, sharing the steps to un-install DW solution, please uninstall in the provided order.

    Un-Install DW Solutions

     Dynamics365FinanceAndOperationsAnchor_managed

     Dynamics365FinanceAndOperationsDualWriteEntityMaps_managed

     DualWriteCore_managed

     Dynamics365AssetManagementApp_managed

     Dynamics365AssetManagement_managed

     HCMCommon_managed

     Dynamics365SupplyChainExtended_managed

     Dynamics365FinanceExtended_managed

     Dynamics365FinanceAndOperationsCommon_managed

     Dynamics365Company_managed

     CurrencyExchangeRates_managed

     msdyn_AssetCommon_managed

     FieldServiceCommon_managed

I would like to share my opinion. Please delete Company record and try to uninstall DW solutions , only if is necessary and you are not using F&O.

Hi, it did not work that way. I was able to deactivate some field service business processes that checked the company field being filled, but I still cannot create a company and thus cannot add products.

Hi there, try to set company record to optional on your form.
