Hi,

I Want To do some Modification in One of the Extension in Business Central And it is Not a Base Application , it is a System Application.

The Name Of the Extension is 'Tax Engine'. it is in use for Indian Localization.

I Cant Find the Extension in 'ALPACKAGE' .

Is there any other way to Achieve that?

Hi,

Are you running OnPrem Version? If yes, then please go to your Build folder > Application and there you can find your related Tax engine App with source file, open that source file into your AL code and do the modification and update with new version and installed it into your local DB.

So the 'Tax Engine' Extension Will not Come with ALpackage Right??

Maybe you can find the code you are looking for here:

github.com/.../IN

The code in the system application can not be read or modified in AL.

But Microsoft publish the code on github.

You will not be able to change the system application that you run in the cloud. If you think there is a bug in the localization for India you should report that to Microsoft through your CPS partner.

Hi, I'm not very clear about the Indian version, but some extensions are also hidden in the W1 version.

For example,

Use the following command to download all extensions, and then add them in Dependencies of your extension, you can extend.

Download-Artifacts -artifactUrl (Get-BCArtifactUrl -type Sandbox -select Latest) -includePlatform
