Payables batch missing when trying to create EFT file

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

When trying to generate an EFT file, the payables batch is missing.  Is there a way to re-create the batch?

Batch in question contains only 1 vendor - who is paid by EFT every month.  No changes have been made to the setup or the vendor.

    Amy,

Thanks for the quick response!  I will try those steps next time, if necessary.   I just found out this was a user issue.  The supervisor had already created the EFT file.  So, of course, there was no payable batch in the list!  The other user somehow overlooked the file when trying to upload to the bank.

But again, thanks for the tips.  I will keep them on file.

Hi!  Did you look in batch recovery to see if there is an error in the batch?  Have you run check links, and reconciliation to fix any missing batch headers?  I have found these to be helpful with this issue. Otherwise, if these do not work, there is a good Microsoft Knowledge article on this

    Hope this helps!
