Error importing excel data in Dynamics 365 for Talent

Hi, 

I am trying to import the terms of employment data using the Import/Export feature in Data Management. 

However, when I try to import, it throws an error " FAILED" 

Can someone please guide me to upload the data correctly?

    There are a number of reasons that you could be in a failed state. If you are using the DMF entity Employment, make sure that the mapping is all in place. You should view the execution details for the import to get the exact messages for the failure. These should be in the Data management workspace under the Job History->Execution Details. Once you have determined the error... A valid error may be the Legal Entity was not defined for the import... Then you can go back to the import file to make any necessary changes. Dates are also very important when importing, these should be entered in GMT as they will be viewed in the User preferred time zone when looking at the UI.
