Hi all,
I have just upgraded a dictionary file from an older version of Microsoft Dynamics GP version (Dynamics GP 2010 - v11.00.2248) to Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 R2 (v14.00.0725) using Dexterity Utilities.
I came accross an ambiguous issue when trying to Debug the dictionary file using "Debug > Test Mode" functionality. Once you choose a company from the Company login screen, the following error is being displayed "FP: Bad component offset. Form: 80Wind:1 Fld: 14 and once I click on the 'OK' button of this error message another error is being shown:
"Unhandled script exception:
SCRIPTS - data area
EXCEPTION_CLASS_SCRIPT_BAD_TYPE
SCRIPT_CMD_COMPONENT"
Note that I have tried to use the debug mode using a clean dictionary file (without modifications - the Dynamics.dic).
When I try to use the customised dictionary file (i.e. The one I've upgraded from GP2010 to GP2015R2), the following error is happening:
"Wrong number of arguments to 'Defaults_Read'."
Note that the Dynamics GP 2015 R2 application works without any issues, and the issues are only happening when I try to run the dexterity using debug mode.
Dexterity Version: 14.00.0084.000 (R2 version)
Dynamics GP Version: 14.00.0725 (Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 R2)
Can someone shed some light on this please?
Thanks and Regards,
Kevin
