iam trying to develop small app to track the gp logins
and i want to authenticate the GP username and the password using visual studio
any help

we have limited no of concurrent users and each branch should using maximum 3 users at the same time
the problem is i cannot prevent users to log into GP.
what iam trying to do is interface before open GP will asking users to put their username and password then i will retrieve their branches and restrict access GP if the branch reached to the maximum
so i want to be able to granted users before opening GP

Please could you provide more details of what you are trying to do and why?
This concerns me as it is a potential security risk to capture login information.
Passwords in Dynamics GP are encrypted and there are proper methods for working with password from Visual Studio.
