can't create attribute in "Price List Item"(productpricelevel) Entity.

Hi Everyone,

Greetings Of the day!!

I am trying to create a custom attribute on Price List Item through a console Application, as from front end i.e on form creation of any field is not allowed.

While executing the execute request for attribute creation below exception occurs:

current operation (Create) failed during managed property evaluation of condition: Managed Property Name: iscomponentcreationenabled; Component Name: Attribute;

Is there anyway i can enable the component creation on this entity.

It's possible in general, but not for that particular entity (and you'll find a few other ones which are locked).

Alright, so it's not possible to create a field through code right?

Hi Prem,

you can't do it through CRM UI either (that's probably the reason you are trying to use a console app). Price List Item is one of those system(out of the box) entities which are pretty much locked.
