Hard drive transferred to new computer, RMS Mgr still seeing old QuickBooks file open

Motherboard bit the dust, hard drive transferred to new computer with similar motherboard, new computer "inherited the Dynamics RMS 2.0 program and QuickBooks software. Can't post batches as RMS sees an open quickbooks file, and won't allow me to "retrieve" company file due to that reason. Have deleted the QB file that was existing at the time of crash, and replaced, but RMS holding onto the "ghost" any known fixes to delete the ghost file or get RMS to release and retrieve a new one?

    All other functions work as they should.
