Filter a Sales Invoice. Trying to remove certain columns in the generated sales invoice before sending to customer.

Hello,

I am trying to to remove certain columns in the generated sales invoice before sending to customer.

Our POs have all the required information we need when generated. When a sales invoice is geneated, we would like to modify the sales invoice by removing a description colum before posting/ sending. Not sure if this would be an option but we could also post the sales invoice then modify the invoice by removing the colum before sending to the customer.

Overall just trying to modify the details (1 column removal) before sending to customer.

I've tried to print and use "filter" but not having any luck

Unfortunately you can not filter out that when you run the report.

You will have to modify the report layout either in word or in report builder.

Internally, would we be able to utilize the report layout, make the sales invoice to what we would want then apply it?

It is not the easiest layout task. So if you not are familiar with working with the report layouts i will recommend you to contact your partner and have them assist you. It should not take them too long and will same you from having to learn it yourself.

Hi, This requires customization. First add the field of the condition with the Report Extension.

Then in the RDLC Layout file, Set the colum displayed or not displayed according to the added conditional fields.

Hope this can give you some hints.

    Thanks.
