How to see Label description in Visual Studio Property

Hi guys,

How to see the label property in Visual Studio without open Labels ?

I mean in Property window where we could find Label setting in there and then we put some Label Id. If I remembered correctly it used to have an addition line in the bottom displaying the Label description. But probably I did something and now every time I need to see what is the Label Description, I need to go to menu Dynamics 365 -> Find Label.

One more thing, I know there is an ellipsis right next to the Label Id, but if the label Id already set (means it is fill in), when I click the ellipsis, my Visual Studio freeze and then shut down abruptly. What's wrong with that ?

Please help,

Thanks

    HI WWwong,

Do you mean to display the label "Description" field information? No such attribute can see it. Many descriptions are even empty, or have no special meaning.

When you search for a label, it is also based on LabelID or Label, and will not search for Description.

As you said, you can check it by "Find Label", or by clicking (...) beside the Label property.
I have encountered that clicking (...) causes VS to shut down and restart. But when you restart VS and try again, everything works fine.

    Hi WWwong,

There is a small field just under properties where label value is shown, however, sometimes you need to resize it to make it bigger to see the value.

    Hi Ievgen,

You're right. Turn out need to resize and drag up the bottom area. It accidentally hidden.

To Blue Wang, yes, but the crash happened many time, which is kinda annoying. but anyway issue solved. Thanks.

    Thank you both.
