BC 14/On Prem Email Issue: SMTP email limit

Hi,

We just converted to BC 14/On Prem.

Today, for the 1st time, we hit an error, related to SMTP rejecting emails. We think this is because we have a legacy gmail account in the smtp configuration.

What is the normal/best practice for the SMTP configuration? (What kind of email is normally used?) I am not sure why we used a gmail account. (I am 3 months in a new role.)

Hello,

From Microsoft perspective, we suggest you use smtp.office365.com in combination with MFA and OAUTH authentication type. If there is an issue with sending mails, we can try to assist.
