I am replacing the RMS server PC for a client and I am wanting to know how to move the database from the old machine to the new one.  Both machines are running XP Pro and the same version of RMS.  Any help would be greatly appreciated

On your current server open Store Operations Administrator.

First, connect to the db you want to move. (File --> Connect).

Then, go to Database --> Backup. Save the bck file and move it to your new server.

On the new server open up Store Operations Administrator.

    Connect to master db.

Go to Database --> Create. Give the database a name and click next a few times till the prompt comes up "Populate database from SQL backup file". Specify the file you backed up at your old server.

    Hope this help. Tim
