show lookup with filter option by default at the top of the lookup grid to avoid Ctrl +G everytime.

Hi,

When user clicks on a field, it opens a lookup having 4 to 5 columns in grid and it has many records in it. user needs to press Ctrl + G for the filter rows to show up at the top of the grid. We want to avoid it in a way that whenever user opens a lookup, it opens with that filter option at the top always.

Is this possible in ax 2012?

Hi VDY,

If you want to have it enabled for all forms, a user can enable it himself.

File > Tools > Options > Interface options fast tab > Grid field group > Filter by grid on by default

From the Users list page, an administrator can activate it for the users using the Options button.
