Pay rate changes & earnings history

We are using US Payroll and HR. When I update an employee's pay rate, shouldn't this update the HRPSLH01 table? Currently, it is not. Is there a setup option I need to enable in order for it to start tracking pay rate changes?

Go to Tools | Setup | System Human Resources Preferences and make sure you have the box marked Enable Reason for Pay adjustment.
